Our Yurts are hand- made right here in England.

They are strong, durable and made for our climate.

The roof of our Yurts are made from a natural rot-resistant waterproofed 15oz canvas (marine grade).

The sky light is made from a clear polyvinalcloride heavy duty plastic which is 80cm, circle triple-stiched, into a removable roof canvas.

The sides are made from the same 15oz canvas as the roof. But around the bottom edge we have added 30cm of brown polyvinalcloride plastic to keep the canvas clean and dry.

All edging has been fitted with pure brass eyelets.

All wood work is up-grade hand treated 18mm Birch Ply - made for durability.

All knots are double-tied woven 6mm nylon braid for ultimate strength.

The door is over-sized, making it comfortable and airy. Also around the edge we have added an easy lace attachment system.

The optional groundsheet has been cut to fit and hangs inside the Yurt keeping it dry in all weathers.

Insulation:-

Insulating the Yurt really depends on where you are living. 

In my opinion here in England it is not really that necessary as a 1 bar gas fire will keep the Yurt cosy and warm most of the time - even in winter. 

And if you have a wood fired stove that works even better. There have been occassions where it has been cold outside and so warm inside that I have had to leave the door open!!!!!!!!

It is also very important to keep the floor dry too. We would recommend building a deck to keep your feet dry in all weathers.
